About Us
Beth Carpenter has accumulated more than 20 years of experience in healthcare management and has a successful track record as a seasoned and creative business professional with strong operational, cost-control and regulatory experience. As an operations strategist, Ms. Carpenter has transformed under-performing organizations by improving business and clinical operations, redesigning workflow processes, enhancing revenue growth and overall profitability, and improving employee performance. Ms. Carpenter, with a focused and hands-on approach, has defined organizational priorities and successfully managed the execution of those priorities creating sustainable results. As a leader in the health care industry, she has been retained as an expert witness by a medical supply manufacturer/distributor and a specialty hospital association. Ms. Carpenter has served as an interim COO of a statewide, multi-site, post-acute network, providing leadership and business guidance to an organization with three separate entities providing health care services. During this engagement, Ms. Carpenter stabilized business operations, remedied reporting and compliance deficiencies, gained control of revenue and receivables, developed strategic plans for the disposal, liquidation and restructured operations of the business and implemented those strategies for each entity as approved by the Board of Directors. Consulting engagements nationwide have included managing the day-to-day operations, correcting reporting and compliance deficiencies, reducing administrative costs, conducting due diligence audits for potential mergers and acquisitions, completing feasibility studies for start-up operations and integrating acquired entities for health care companies nationwide. Ms. Carpenter has managed one of the largest hospice agencies in the Midwest, providing hospice services to patients in private homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes and hospitals. Subsequently, while working for a national hospice entity, she was responsible for managing the multi-site multi-state regional operations, reversing the region's poor financial performance and strengthening its ability to comply with regulatory issues on both state and federal levels. Ms. Carpenter holds a M.B.A. from Keller Graduate School of Management, Chicago, and a Bachelor of Arts from Northeastern Illinois University, Chicago. She has published numerous articles on healthcare management topics.
